Where a 240 cm palm fits

At 240 cm, you're dealing with a large piece. Under a 260 cm ceiling, it will look tight, which can be beautiful but should be a conscious choice; at 280 cm or higher, it really comes into its own.

For good measure, also measure the passageway it needs to go through, and whether there's a lamp or beam in the way.
